You have 30 days from the time of purchase to add in an extended warranty. Depending on the manufacturer, the general warranty policy is:
1 year of in-home parts, labor and structural service
2 years of parts and structural service (you don't need to transport your chair anywhere for this, but you will need to pay the labor costs of getting a technician out to your place to work on the chair)
3 years of structural service
Warranties provide a nice security on your investment. Many times though, issues occur in the first year. Always make sure that it's plugged in correctly--I've had times where my kids accidentally unplugged the chair or the cord just came a little loose.
We do not up-charge the warranty price from our manufacturers at all. The cost is simply the cost. You can purchase it from us at our time of purchase or directly from the manufacturer within 30 days
