With White Glove Delivery, your chair is brought into the desired location within your home (even up and down stairs) and completely assembled. We charge an extra $250 for this service. The technicians and white glove delivery company will not leave until the chair is assembled and operating properly.
White Glove delivery typically adds an extra week to your delivery time because your chair will be shipped via a bigger commercial carrier to the "last mile" where it is transferred over to a local delivery company to complete the final delivery and installation. Sometimes, the white glove company only does routes to each neighborhood on designated days of the week.
If you do have stairs to navigate up or down, please let us know how many there are and if there any difficult things to navigate. We have had some deliveries where the stairwell was surprisingly narrow with higher steps and an unsafe condition which required a 3rd delivery man. You can err on the side of providing us with too much information if you're in doubt. A picture is very helpful for the delivery company so that they can staff your delivery accordingly. The last thing that you want or need is for them to arrive without the proper manpower to fully and safely deliver your chair--plus, we would hate for you to have to wait any longer than you already have!
