Ok, so you decided to save money by getting the free curbside delivery. Great! But now what? You're probably wondering exactly what you need to do to put your new chair together--and wondering if you've bitten off more than you can chew.
Don't worry, we've got you covered! I suggest having more than one person available to begin the installation--sometimes the armrests can be awkward especially when trying to work in a small space without much light to connect the hoses and properly secure them to the body of the chair.
- Most massage chairs arrive in 2-3 boxes depending on the size of the chair. The body of the chair will be fully reclined to make sure that it's traveling in the safest position possible. After you move the boxes into your room of choice, you will need to remove it from the packaging and follow these steps:
- Plug in your chair and move it to the upright position
- Find the Side/Arm Panels
- Attach any air hoses and/or electric connections
- Carefully connect the Side Panels by inserting the male end into the female and resting the lower part onto the metal rail - you will likely needed to "lock" it into place by sliding the side panel towards the back of the chair.
- Screw in the side panels once secured into position
- Attach the Footrest to the chair - sometimes this is with a cotter pin system or even a screw system. Sometimes these can be quite heavy--a second person is very helpful
- Secure Footrest with any secondary screw attachments
- Secure remote (if this is a pedestal remote)
- Get in and give it a try!
